Nice catch of the Heron as it takes off. Good angle in the frame to show the sense of rising in flight. It appears to be flying into the light which helps to make the details more visible. Good stop action. Nice sharp focus. Good details in the head, wings and feathers. Well done.

This is a super clear photograph of movement of a heron in take off flight. The background complements the action, the dark grass and the sunlit river bank and reflections, then the beautiful bird neck stretched crystal clear. A good entry. Best of luck.

Wow, look at this guy's wingspan. Incredible. For not having gained much altitude, he sure is leveled out nice for aerodynamic ability. The colors in this photo are vibrant and contrast nicely. Very nice.
