I am freezing just looking at this. It looks indeed very cold, but also has breathtaking beauty. The tranquility of the lonely landscape is fascinating. The photo is excellently focused and exposed. The panorama framing is perfect.

This makes me so glad that I will be there in July and not January. :) I love the wide landscape orientation of the shot. Your white balance and light management is well handled. Very hard with all of that snow. Great dof from snowy foreground to snowy mountain peaks. Very nice work.

Thank you so much Donna, this has been an extremely cold winter. It is supposed to warm up into the teens for a few days and then get back to sub zero and single digits again. Last summer we broke records for high temperatures all summer but we had several forest fires , sending that nasty smoke up into the air.

There you go. Beautiful composition making all the horizontal subject fields appear to be marching across the photograph actually giving a feeling of static movement. Love the simple two toned colors of blue and white. Reasons for my five star vote.
