I make it to the parkm every other year, love the bison. the horses and the prairie dogs plus the show. Really neat photo, caught the bird in all its glory well done

A very nice perspective that a beautiful image that is almost bilaterally symmetrical. The color of his gorget is fantastic and the detail in the plumage is excellent.

Holy Cow! I don't think I have seen a photo of a Hummer quite this dynamic Kathy. The focus is pinpoint sharp. The colors are radiant and iridescent. Those tail feathers are absolutely Fantastic!
This needs to be seen by All of the folks on FAR.

No Steve - I applied the other option that runs 2-day's for $6.95 and then applied several pumps to get it to 57 cents (before you generously took it to the top). Again, Thank You :-)? It's been a while since I'm been on FAR (as you know), remind me, are folks more interested in earning reviewing points or member currency?

The short answer is ?Yes?. Both the points but mainly the money so they can eventually bump their photos or art up to get recognition. I showed your photo to some friends from Washington DC and they said this is of the quality that should be entered into a very special and limited to only THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHS competition. I Agree.

This shot is magical catching this tiny Hummingbird with it's jewel like iridescent plumage, his wings on a down beat & his tail fanned out for balance. The soft blurred colours behind him makes a perfect backdrop. artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is just a remarkable photo of a hummingbird Kathy, and never Have seen the tail feathers of the bird like this. It is of course the straight on approach doing this photo more than anything. The bird is also standing out from the softened background in the most excellent way.
Your Focus is spot on and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in the feathers of the bird, and the exposure is Perfect.
The way you have cropped the photo Works so well, and I like the centered position of the bird. A truly beautiful and well taken photo, and With an excellent DOF.
