Great content contrast with the green background, then the red flowers, with the yellow butterfly in front. The butterfly is positioned in a good location. Great clarity in the butterfly and the flowers. Allowing a bit more lite into the camera could have brightened the picture. Best of luck.

Wow love that butterfly have not seen that kind before. The colors are excellent and immediately understand the name Tiger Swallowtail. Contrast nicely against the red flower and great focus.

A beautiful picture of this Eastern Tigher Swallowtail Butterfly sucking nectar from what looks like Astilbies growing under the tall trees in the background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I don't drive so do not drive out to places, but when I lived for a short while in Arkansas. my garden was always full of all sorts of nature, birds, squirrels, you name it. A very lush country - represented here.

The Swallowtail is gorgeous. You captured the butterfly perfectly. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I enjoy the realism of color and light and refinement of detail. The butterfly is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The Swallowtail was and has always been my favourite butterfly since I was a little boy,although I have never had the good fortune of seeing one live I do like to observer photographs of them and you have composed your presentation of this Swallowtail beautifully with sharp focusing throughout
