What an interesting flower. I should want to see it In real life. Also the silver I would enjoy seeing. Very nice capture I'm clear focus in the foreground with a little flowers. The fuzzy flower in the background and it's interest and the blurring of the graves helps to accentuate the flower in the foreground

Nice shot of blue blue glow globe thistle. Enjoyed the soft focus and blurry background. Nice focus on the blooms in the middle. Nice color composition and post processing work.

This is a nicely balanced piece. The bright colours are satisfying. The blur filter and very specific details in focus, give this a real artistic aspect. A nice piece, I'm sure your friend was pleased. Thanks for sharing

A grand thistle, apparently not grown in Missouri where I live. Your blurring feature works well here, except that I would have preferred that the opening "flowers" be very focused. Might not be possible with your software. I enjoyed this!

Thanks so much for your review and comments! I should have used a wide angle lens and that would have brought those opening buds into better focus. They are incredibly tiny?

Very nice use of mixed media here Jodi, I like the way you emphasize the top petals of the thistle and bring them forward from the rest of the plant.
Well placed within the frame , I love the way the softly focused portions seem to glow.
