This winter landscape is beautiful. I would make a perfect season card if printed, but also an exquisite wall decoration. Your smooth brush strokes are impressive. I like how the path leads the eyes of the viewers into the background. This perspective is interesting. The proportions are correct. I appreciate your attention to realistic detail and color. The landscape is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you for your fine review and both helpful and encouraging info and insight. Means a lot. I may just do that regardings the cards. I have done a lot of poems, acrostic poems and pulled my paints in. I'll try to do that soon as possible. Thanks for your thoughtful suggestion.

Wonderful initial impact: this is a beautiful scene, I love the red barn and the way you have placed it within the scene. Nice show of the path leading to the barn.well placed bare trees on each side of the path and the evergreen on the right brings another texture as well as balancing the scene. The post with the green wreath and red ribbon tells us that this is Christmastime.
The barn is well rendered with good shape and structure, I like the silo too.
Nice trees up in the back . Nice show of the winter sky and the white snow.

Thank you so much. I am learning more and more to paint as I've drawn more. I painted this wet on wet in oils, then added the post and wreath as well as the wording. Since you and two others have suggested re the Christmas Card, I hope I can. I have done a lot of cards using my poetry, acrostic poetry and pulled in my art but not this as a whole pic in front. Thanks for the "6" and the suggestion. Meant so much. I really needed encouraging.
