Very well done my artistic and talented friend! The colors are especially lovely with the vibrant shades of pink set against your beautiful blue water and sky. I enjoy seeing how you have graduated the colors to imply slight motion and wonderful depth. Intricate details throughout create a stunning scene. It looks like a beautiful place to be and I wish to be there! Seriously though this is impressive and should do very well in the contest, best wishes!

Hi Glena, Love the way you did the cherry blossoms. They look very pretty over the water. I also like the diffused blossoms you have floating or just under the surface of the water. I think you did a good job on the boat too. The only thing I'm not sure about is if you put it too much at an angle. I think it should be sitting flatter on the water. I could be totally wrong. The whole of the image is very nice though. Very pretty for a Spring contest! :o) Nancy

Thank you so much, artist friend Nancy. I had that boat a lot better before I brought it into photoshop and changed something, not for the best. I'm not too good at digital work, or drawing/painting in photoshop. I am learning some there. Thanks for comments of best wishes.

Hi Glena, you've mastered the blossom extraordinarily well, it's beautiful and so realistic! The scene is lovely, but the perspective on the boat is a bit off, it looks like it's tilted towards us - as it's for a competition, is there any way of altering that digitally? Because the rest of the painting, the water, reflections and the far bank, is so lovely, and well worth a bit of extra work. I do hope you can.
