Evening Over the Anchor is simply gorgeous! Let me count the ways. 1) It is spellbinding moment catching this magnificent bird of prey in full flight. 2) The composition is excellent. The extended wings add fullness, a bonus. 3) The contrasting colors are bright and beautiful. 4) The image is clear and detailed. I love the detail on the body and wings. 5) It tells a story of might, prowess, and survival. My curiosity is peaked. Did he catch a meal?
Bravo!!!

Loving this one Pat as the bird comes into land. Magnificent detail of the plumage and the focus is sharp on the eye of bird.

You are so lucky to be amongst so many bald Eagles that you get these awesome shots. The burrowed brow, intense look in his eye, the details in the feathers...wow it's all beautiful details that make a great shot!

Wow Pat, another great Eagle shot. He almost looks supper imposed on the background. I know he is not, he just looks so perfect. Well done and what amazing focus. May I ask what settings you were using?
