This is a pretty barn scene. The field is a bit overexposed in the foreground, but I like the framing, and the trees give it a good sense of DOF. Nicely done. Good luck with the hubby.

Great composition! The green of the hill behind the barn really is a great impact. I also like the geometric shapes of the barn roof, cylinder and the rectangles on the front of the barn.

Story Telling Ability-Even though this is not a written story, one can create many stories about the horses coming out and the pickup parked beside the barn. What a picture

So glad to see your back! This is a wonderful photo. If I thought I could paint scenery, this is something I would want to paint. Love the colors and the composition is excellent. Something about your photos - they all seem to have a warm feel about them - that's a good thing! Very very nice job!

Jack, first, thank you ever so much for your time and review, most important, you mention about the warm feel, hubby said to me, "It doesn't matter if your picture is what you intented, you look through that viewfinder the same as you do everything, from your heart and with all your love." Thank you again!

This is a very interesting composition. There is lots to look at. The fur trees make a nice background. Each element is clear. The colors are crisp. Very nice

Not a bad shot - A little too much for the viewer to look at. I would have just focused on one thing. Maybe just the barn or just the old silo. The colouring is very nice though.

Thank you very much for your time and review jay, but, landscape photography usually doesn't focus on one thing.

Buy that man a case of beer on me! glad you're back LR!!!

feel kind of awkward not giving a five on your first post back with us, but it's the angle... it's a little to straight-on for me. the techs are all great. the harsh light doesn't help either, but it's not devistating to this one, it's mainly the angle. probably a little to the left so that you hide enough of the silo to prevent the blown out highlight on the sun-ward side.

Nice rich colors and great separation between foreground and background. Still love those trees on the hillside. Really makes the barn stand out. Great job.
