Very clever composition. I like the use of the pink/purple coloring to give it a soft feminine quality. The paper texture enhances it very nicely.

This is so soft and lovely.
The light pink tones in the background give it texture.
The eyes are so beautiful and the way you have captured the light in them
The skin in like porcelain.

I initially have to get over a case of pink shock when I look at this piece. It performs excellently at giving a very feminine atmosphere to it. The highlights appear to be purposefully omitted in order to focus the attention more on the face which has a classic beauty to it. I believe your use of basic pink and white helps greatly in giving this work its own very distinct feel. The only thing that strikes me are the eyes which appear to be disproportionately large. Overall good work with a great story behind it.
