Congratulations simple !

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW ( I THINK?) :)

This piece gives me a feeling of sadness, like one coming to the end of a long journey, perhaps life itself. From what I can see of the details in this piece, it looks very well proportioned, especially the hands, and I like how his head is bowed and he is resting his head on his walking stick while holding his hat in the other, like he is showing respect. I also like the muted colors of the background, it really makes the figure stand out.

This is totally awesome. I love the angle and the way it appears to almost be floating on water. The lighting captures everything well and it is truly unique.

I think the person in the painting is very well done. It seems like his soul is right there on his sleeve, for the whole world to see. I don't like the backgroun though. There's nothing going on, it just kind of fades into oblivion... Thanks!

thanks Eiric. The background was deliberately vague and foggy. I felt that it would have taken away from the shepherd to embellish it.

This is a beautiful painting. The colors are beautiful and I feel that you really captured the spirit of the moment. It seems a little blurry to me though, probably the uploading process, I'm having the same problem. Try sharpening after you resize.

It's such a shame that we cant see the image better, what we can see is very good the image is well painted and gives the impression of sadness, was that your intention?

You have capture a very interesting moment in this gentlemans hike when he has either been overcome by failure or thanking god for making it. Outstanding job

very nice, it evokes a feeling of sympathy for a person who looks tired, but mabe they're just resting for a moment. The colors are cold and dark, contributing to the overall mood.

I find it difficult to "read" this image due to unusual angle and distortion, but the seen colors, tones and composition create very emotional feel. Really would be good if it could be seen up front with leveled and straightened sides...
