Debbie, I hope you don't really feel as sad as this tree looks! Interesting specimen. Nice lighting & angle. Well captured. I can feel the neglect! By the way, I've uploaded a Harley engine close-up you might like to check out. ;-)

A future project of mine is to photograph a lone tree in vast landscapes, your photo has just reminded me of that. The prickly bare branches are wonderful. Nice work!

Well, you look thin and lean in your photo, but THIS MUCH??!?! I don't think that's healthy, Myrtle! :o) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this tree... how incredible can it get?! The dry grass in the background really emphasizes the feel of this beauty. It's a gorgeous picture!

I don't see the resemblance. :-) Great shot though; you really do get a sense of isolation. I love the composition, with the tree leaning into the frame. Nice pic!

+ geometric lines nice.
+ distribution of subject in the frame is correct.
+ correct idea of the place/subject.

- technically not enough.
- brilliancy.
- colours predominancy.
- a little darkness in the whole pic.

Beautiful depiction of the starkness of winter. The tree shows the skeleton of it's former self and you've framed and captured it well. Excellent job!

The subject of this photograph is unique. It stands in starch contrast to its surrounds. It appears, even though dead, to dominate it's area. The tree seems to be holding on - not wanting to relinquish it's space. Very good imagination inspiring piece
