Good evening LowRider, love the picture and I loved the story. I am so glad I came online this evening. I wouldn't mind having a slice of that Germen Chocolate cake myself. BRAVO 10 STARS.

Wonderful story. Great picture of an old building that has seen lots of weather. I like the hint of trees framing the building and the nice crispness of the snow against it. Looked like it was a lovely day. Crystal clear image. Beautifully centered. Great work!!!

I love the choice of subject. It's such an eerie desolate feeling. I also like the addition of the journal notes. That really sets the mood of the photo

LowRider, no bugging this time around. This is a great photograph. A beautiful scene, well composed image, nicely cropped, exposure is perfect and the photograph is well focused.
Peace, Papa

Roads are dry after a day of snow, only ride dry roads. Thank you very much for your time and review brosmom!

I'm not sure what's keeping the barn up it looks like it could fall over any time. I like the red against the white snow, good job.

What a wonderful story you give to the wonderful photographs you upload, and it always brightens my day when you relate the converations with the old folk you meet. This photograph is not unlike the old cabins I paint and so this is one for my next challenge I think...if you wouldn't mind Debbie??Excellent work and the ramshackle cabin has a lot of character like you and the owners...Wonderful work.

If the photograph wasn't a five star the story should would make it one!! This is a great shot on its own. The old red barn really stands out against all that snow. Very nice shot and as usual a great story to go with it!! :)

Sounds like you all had a great time swappin' stories. The barn photograph definitely has a lot of character. Great color and composition in this shot. But, your story is the GREATEST!!
