Everything seems real ancient except maybe for the padlock which seems quite new. A well balanced view of color and weathered construction

That is really interesting. It's old but the paint seems relatively new. It is only a little bit pealing on the key hole. The rust comes through only finely on the white painted ring and hug. The chain is old and rusty, but there isn't rust on the padlock I could see. You have the details amazingly captured. Enough of them to tell a interesting story.

Sometimes the simplest photo captures the eye, nicely done, good contrast in colors while keeping it basic. I like to see how this would look converted to black and white.

Great composition. There is a slight angle to the shot which gives it visual interest. Love the two different colors captured and the textural roughness of the different woods and the chain.
