I was waiting for this magic leaf to suddenly appear! Here it is! Love the crisp clarity and details, soft lighting and fine shadow.

Gosh if I only had more stars. This has got to be the best photo of a leaf I have ever seen. It must be hung on the wall. Love the shadow in the background and the 3D effect it gives. Wonderful job. Good luck in the contest.

Clever to focus om one leaf for the contest ad have several underneath to make leave stand out, like the shadows at top. Pretty color,5 technnical 5 technique 5 lighting a 5.

Initially this image looks to be showing a flower rather than a leaf. The orange coloured leaf looks like the top part with the darker red leaf being the trumpet. Of course now I have this large on my screen I can see leaves and not flowers! The background is very attractive in soft tones which compliment those in the leaves. Same comments apply to the foreground. Light is very good creating a shadow in the background and also the foreground. Like the colours in this a great deal. Good Luck in the contest at voting time.

This is beautiful, and ready to frame! Love the rich autumn colors, and the textures of the leaves that you have captured so perfectly. Perfect background for the subject, too. Nice use of the entire field of the frame.
