Wonderful image and fabulous pastel work! Really a great contest entry, wish you well. Love the clarity and details, especially the beautiful eyes. Lighting is excellent. Very well done, and a pleasure to view!

I like the portrait of the little fox looking off into the distance. I think you might have used a little too much white around the muzzle and chest and I think the orange/brown could have been a little darker. Overall nice piece of work.

Thank you for your nice review. Actually on the original the colour is darker - I often find with pastels that they don't photograph as they should.

Excellent portrait of this fox. He has such an intelligent look in his eyes. The initial impact of this pastel goes to the eyes. Beautifully done. The brush strokes highlighting his fur are really excellent. Great work with the shadows and light that is created here. Excellent choice for the contest submission. Best of luck in the contest.

Excellent! Love this composition, with the dark night behind him and the moonlight lighting up his face. You have achieved a stunning amount of fine detail in his face and those eyes, with nice texture in his fur. Love the way you have the light and shadow. Excellent art work, very well done and good luck!

A very realistic picture of a fox. I like the medium used which gives a soft appearance to the fox's fur. Use of light is very good which make the eyes appear to glow in the dark. Like the competition although I am not too fond of foxes. They have become a nuisance in towns and in the countryside where I live, they dig up plants, etc. I doubt they have many natural enemies and this is why they are becoming a problem. But they are beautiful to look at I have to concede!
