Educational, informative notes.
Looks like its in black & white save for the hazy purple core & green foliage.
Fine features & textures.
Subdued lighting!
Compact framing.
Pin sharp focusing.
Black backdrop pops out subject aesthetically.
Thanks so much my friend for sharing.

Hi PeglegDeb,
What a lovely image of this crispy white flower replete with rain/dew drops against a jet black background. It pops right out of my screen! R

Very pretty white blooms. Nice filling of the frame. Fantastic clarity and great contrast against the black background. The water drops add freshness and beauty to your photo. Nicely framed with great visual impact. Well done. ~Alveria

Well, no blown out white here. Excellent exposure. Each little drop of water is sharp as can be.
The flower is beautiful on the dark background. Really nice.

VERY PRETTY,Deb!
Phlox used to be a very popular 'ground cover' on many gravesites over in the old cemetery across the road from my place and it still pops up ( even in my front yard! ) and looks great even without anyone caring for it!
I've seldom seen any of this White variety though ( it's mostly the pink and violet varieties growing over in the 'Burying Grounds'! ) so I'm really enjoying this great photo that you've presented us with!
An Awesome 'Good Show' here,my friend!

LOL...LOVE it Sean. You just write the most fun reviews. Yes....ho-hum on the pink ones. Now I wouldn't mind these lovely white ones mixed w/ the hot red variety growing over me when I'm dead and buried!! Love your reviews and REALLY appreciate you sharing an extra star w/ me. Thank you soooo much.
