Balance of the negative space along with the mass blue of the woman in the center of the foreground keeps the painting together. The three lighted triangles which seems to be mid-tone are balancing the middle ground as well. Nice arrangement of shape and color.

ROFLMAO!!!..painting???hell I don't paint!!!..i don't even work with a art medium..im a master sharpie/bic artist(office medium)...you do have your glasses on right?? well that is your opinion dude..thats all..personally I don't care..i don't have negative anything only in your mind..but that is your opinion..just remember you have work too that will need to be reviewed. 3 stars too huh?..yeah ill remember that..cant wait to see how you are supposedly soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. besides this a cartoon. I betcha you sit with the newspaper critic those classic cartoons going crazy. you know the funny thing is?..the rest of the public don't agree with you, which goes to the old saying.."one mans trash is another's treasure". O.K. I thought this was a painting, it's listed under art not cartooning. Sorry, you took it as an insult. When I saw artwork I sought art as in drawing or painting. And that's how I viewed it. Know if I was asked to view this as a cartoon then I would have. Dude I just got back on here yesterday from three years ago, so they never had cartoons as far as I knew. I don't know Mabey they should have a cartoon section. Not trying to insult you. I don't post cartoons with paintings, drawings, and photography.

np dude..i have been here 6 years straight and they never ever had a cartoon section. however it does ask for category when posting like, drawing, painting, cartoon, etc..mine is listed as cartoon. it would be cool if they did have that category so that I wont be taking any more of the "traditional artist of the year trophy" as I have many years before here. that way it could give other artist that shot. I would be happy to have the "cartoonist of the year" trophy instead. but alas it has never been that way but ya never know maybe for once tom would listen. thinking back if you were here a few years ago I was top dog then..no matter.the opinion didn't bother me the 3 stars represents it sux and need work. I was laughing when I wrote my response and wonder if you had a hard time in your life looking at cartoons. you know ISIS don't like cartoonist and killed several of my brethren in france for being a cartoonist. so I'm still cool. It been said and done. good luck in your adventures..wink
