I see him as a poor man wandering in a big country.
with his old cloth and tired.
a watercolorist dream to get it like this.

This is really good! Lots of emotion in the drawing and really stops and makes me think. I like the colors you used and they help to set the mood even deeper.

I really like this picture. The man seems almost three demensional, coming off the page. I like his stance, he seems to be pouring his heart out to God. Nicely done.

Thank you for the comments. The irirsh are a highly religious race and this is the impression I wanted to give.

This is outstanding, very nice job. I love the angle, everything seems to be good, composition, contrast and overall detail.
Very professional looking, nice work.

very well done I like the prespective and that you excluded the detail in the background .cause to him nothing in the world matters except his prayer. nice job

Thank you for your compliments and impressions. Little does matter more than prayers.

I think the photo of the pic doesn't do it justice. Looking beyond that, it is a most powerful piece. (A scan would have presented it better)

I wish this was a bigger image. But from what I can see it is excellent. The posture is perfect. You really caught something here with your brush. Great work. I see grief. Great job.

THis is clearly nearly perfect. It is a little out of focus. I can't tell if it is the painting or the image. I suggest making your work bigger going forward. I look forward to more from you.

This is a nice picture. I like the look you were going for. The Man looks like he is thinking very hard. I like watercolor art. Your hard work paid off.

I dont know what the intended effect of this photo is. Is it supposed to be grainy. NIce job captureing theme and subject but overall quality seems to be lacking. There seems to be a disparity between the clarity and the subject.
