For some reason skulls have always frightened me. Took me years to come to terms that we actually have these inside our heads! I do like this shot even though it gives me the creeps. The skull is positioned perfectly within the frame and shows lots of detail. Focus is very good. Scenery behind is attractive. For some reason skulls get used a lot in connection with Halloween. I have no idea why but then again I am in the UK where Halloween is not such a big deal as n the States.

Skulls are spooky, I agree, but for some reason i seem to be fascinated by them, and take every opportunity (like Halloween) to create skull shots! Thank you for your comments, and the time you took to review this one!

This looks really cool but I feel like its a little bright. I love the addition of the green inside the eye sockets.

Thank you for your comments and taking the time to review this one! I didn't add color to this skull, however, it is hollow and I placed a little green light inside to light it up at night!

Wow, we are getting some awesome creative Holloween entry's. This is really cool. The piercing eyes ae very dramatic. Love the background of the swampy forest like it had been left there many moons ago. Very creative. Good luck in the contest!

Great colors and wonderful balance to the image. The tight shot on the mask and the very bright swampland showing through the eye sockets seem, at least to me, to create a 3D effect for the floating skull.

Thank you for your awesome review ... just a note however.... this skull is hollow and I put a green light inside it...just happens that the inside of the skull, lit with a the green light ... happens to match the color of the swamp! LOL!

Very creative in creating the green eyes, huh? Originality, high 5! Clarity of image and good presentation. Obviously, superb focus and excellent framing. Clarity and sharpness, achieved, showing the details of lines and formation of teeth clearly.
