This is a beautiful, charming and whimsical photograph.

I love your composition. The swan's neck, curving in from the side, up and then down is visually excellent. The tip of his bill, barely dipping into the water, with the ripples is extraordinary. And the reflection, just a hint, breaks up wonderfully in those ripples.

The detail is sharp and perfectly exposed.

Very nicely done and a pleasure to view.

I love the aqua of the water and the perfect timing for the ripple effect. Was there any editing done to achieve the ripple effect so nicely? The water really caught my eye more so than the swan. Nicely done!

:) Thank you, mjemmer!! No editing to the ripples whatsoever. This is as framed with the exception of a slight silhouetting of darker tones. Your feedback is truly appreciated. Kindest Regards. Lisa

Very pretty pose of a black swan. The timing was perfect getting all the circles in like that. The lighting and clarity are very good. the composition is lovely.

Wow! This is a superb shot!

I love the color of the rippled water, it really highlight the red bill.

Beautifully framed too.

Very elegant.
The beak touching the water creating the ripples really make this shot stand out.
The black and blue colors are done nicley with great lighting.
Making the head the center of attention and his long beautiful nect curving up and out of the shot is great.
The shaded corners really tie the mystical feeling together.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot here. I like the cropping also. Slight vignette effect is nice.
The title for this shot is right on. Thank you so much for bringing me along, what a beautiful place it must be.

Really great details and
textures here in the water
and the swan. I love that he is only in half the frame, great
coloring overall, wonderful shot

Very pretty. Saw one like this posted not too long ago. It was the first time I ever saw a black swan. Very nicely composed and focused.

You did! The swan just had his beak further up with drops coming down and spiraling into the water. I'm putting together a series of this black beauty. Glad this caught your eye. Your feedback is truly appreciated, amfunny! Kindest Regards. Lisa
