fine shot with the red reflections and the long legs. the log adds a bonus touch to the shot. and nice reflecton. have a great wweek and good luck in the contest this should do well.

Love the composition. Beautiful capture. Great POV and DOF. Subject looks like he's walking on water! Love the reflection of the colors, I'm assuming of trees, in the water, and part of the log showing. Nice impact! Nice work!

I love this picture. I live quite near herons myself and watch them all of the time. this picture surely captures the patience of the heron. Great reflection of the bird and foliage colors. The log provides perspective and interest as well. JD

What a great photograph. The reflection of the bird is perfect as are the added color reflections of the vegetation around the water. The addition of the fall colors really lifts this picture. Good luck in the contest.
