Yes Jan it does look like ice and it is a great stop action shot captured with good focus, contrast and detail. Having visited the falls several times I can clearly hear the roar.

Stop action with the water is good you have lost no detail. Like they way the water ripples and shines yet before it falls it is dark water. Good lighting and colour balance. Well framed
