This shot reminds me of walking into my engineers workshop with his neat arrangement of tools but this is a version of it from way back when. The B&W really adds to the shot and emphasizes the age of the subject. I enjoyed the vignette as well to help keep the eye in the picture and give it some depth against the flat wall. thanks for sharing.

Now this is way cool. I love old stuff and what an eclectic mix of goodies on show here! Yah, the clock, now that's really somthing, right bang in the middle of all the antiques they stick a modern clock. Love it. It really does bring the whole thing together with the time piece and what was and is now. Amazing and thanks for sharing. Oh and I think the photograph is great too..wink :)

When I was looking for a shot to post I didn't really "see" the clock - but then bam - it struck me as a great counterpoint. Thanks for the review. BTW - welcome to the site.

Your decision to change this to black and white was excellent. The composition is much more dramatic this way. The focus and overall composition really makes this a stand out work. Very well done Chuck ~ Steve

Going to B&W was not a great leap from what the original looked like - but it did add that extra something to the shot. Thanks for the review and welcome to the site.

There is an art piece hanging in the Tate Museum in Britain that looks like your photo, except the artist painted buttons! You image reminds me of that piece.

I like it in b/w and it is a photograph one must stop and look at closely and one cannot help but get engaged. Personally I do not like the vignette you put on because it stops my eyes from going to the edge to further study what is hanging there, but that is just me.

You have composed this nicely, it is sharp and easy to view. Your black to white and gray tonality is vast and nicely handled.

The format is well done in a large horizontal. It was a pleasure to look and learn.

It is more than cool Chuck. It is just fantastic. The way all the tools are placed on the way makes the wall look like an art installation, and I am so glad you managed to get far enough away to photograph the whole wall. I also like a lot that the photo was changed to BW.

Your photo is also nice and sharp showing really clear and well defined details in all the items, and the exposure is perfect. I also think the vignette you have added has worked well.

The cropping is perfect, and I would like to add that I also think the textures of the wall looks great. Indeed an interesting and well taken photo.

He probably thought u were scoping out his goodies. Glad ya didn't get shot..wink. The angle of the shot of the tools on the wall is good. The capture of the light is good. The clarity is good. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
