Raoul, as a pencil artist myself there are a lot of things about this drawing that I really appreciate. You seem to be very efficient at conveying realism without driving yourself mad about the details. It gives your work a very appealing finish. The places where my eyes are drawn are cleanly rendered and realistic and effortlessly framed by shapes that convey only what needs to be conveyed. I really like the areas where you can't tell where she ends and the water begins. Bravo on a job well done.

Such an impressive display of skill and emotion. The image itself may come off as simplistic in tone to the initial viewing but very quickly can hold onto a gaze with all it's intricate detail and precision to create a truly mesmerizing piece. Thank you for sharing

Beautiful lines, great texture, love your shading, the attention to detail in the face, water and hair is very awesome.
I'm wondering if the hair is so long that it drags on the floor?

Wonderful and wonderful, creation. Great fantasy, unusual depiction, amazing strokes. Looks like the composition is floating in the water. Thanks for sharing this great art.

A wonderful piece drawn simply with the use of graphite pencils, showing this lady in the water with her wet hair cascading all around her floating in it. The main aspect other than simply the artistic accuracy of this is the intricate use of shading which is very impressive - the movement of the water is represented well through the use of lighter shading than the subject, in many gently and lighter swirls and lines show the movement of the water well. The face is painted from an unusual angle as she is looking back over her shoulder, but the facial features are brilliant and accurate. Her hair is drawn fantastically and has had a real attention to detail done - the light shimmering off areas where the hair meets the water, the random strands floating like jellyfish tentacles in the water haha, and even the shape of the hair as the weight of the water is shown to pull the hair backwards slightly, all almost photogenic in quality. Well positioned and a lovely, in depth sketch - great work :)
