I haven't seen one of these before and I would have guessed he was some type of hawk! When I think of buzzards I don't associate them with being so pretty! This guys has lovely colors and markings, that stand out nicely in this shot.

A beautiful picture of this Common Buzzard perched on the top of the fence eye fixed ahead of it searching for it's next meal. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus, good luck in the contest.

The bird is so beautiful and is posing for you in the most lovely way. You could not have captured it better. Especially the sharp and bright eye is well photographed, and the light is falling on the bird in such a lovely way. With the soft background the bird is standing out in the most excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the feathers, and the exposure is perfect.
The format and framing is working so well, and the bird has got a very good placement in the picture. This is indeed a lovely and well taken bird photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Well photographed with sharp focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. Well composed with the buzzard obviously studying something down in front of him. Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!
