I like how the greens and oranges come together in this photo in varying ways; with the way they merge together in the background, and how they showcase each other up close. This photo indeed looks like something out of a storybook, with the mossy rocks, and moss covered trees, and the overcast sky. The fact that this forest is near a castle, I feel like there's a lot of history here, and that it's very likely that centuries ago hunters rode through here on horseback looking for their next prey, or groups of soldiers rode through here looking for their next mission, or quite possibly adventurers passing by looking for a job in exchange for gold. I feel like this photo speaks to me, and I really like it.

Nicely saturated colours and the panoramic format is ideal for this shot. Now a little late in the year as all the Autumn leaves are on the ground in the South at least. My plan of gluing them back on didn't work at all :-(

A beautiful forest scene with leafless Beech trees with a carpet of crunchy russet red leaves under them, in the background tall evergreen Scot's Pine at their feet interspersed between the trees are large moss covered rocks. The pale sky visible between the branches. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

that is a fabulous picture for those who love nature
nice framing - the fact that you cut of the top of the trees brings the focus perfectly to the red carpet - another magic scene to me - clear and sharp as always and excellent contrast and lighting
