He looks so sad, lambs are cute when they are young, like everything else they grow to become adults and not so cute, This reminds me of pigs we had while I was a kid, I kept good care of my piglet but I knew it would become dinner from the get go so I was not upset when it was time to kill it. This is how farmers think. Although having him sleep with my kids would make it much harder lol

Thank you, also for the touching story. You are so right in all of your statements. Little Harry was a pet, sleeping with the children and beloved but he may be dinner some day. Piglets and lambs, like other little ones, are so cute when babies, young. Thanks again.

I think he is do cute. Its an unusual angle and only 2 legs vidible so I am assuming he is lay down on a brown stone or is standing foreward and his hind legs not visible in the dark background.... focussing on his face he is looking sad but besutiful. Nice colour pattern and realisti wooley coat.

Thank you so much. I though Harry was a precious lamb from the time I saw him. The young girl was holding him. He was such a pet to them all. I used several of the oil sticks in drawing him, but no water with the water-soluble one this time. Thanks again for your encouragement.

You are just so-o kind. I did do better with him than the dog as I did not use water with the thick oil water-soluble pastels, the Sennelier, and other oil pastels for this one. You have such a thought in the story, creative and imaginative mind too. Thanks so much.

Thank you for reviewing and for your kind remarks. I had never drawn an animal with oil pastel, not too many other works lately with this medium that is more difficult to control. Thanks, I agree about the time of year's appropriate.
