A beautiful & peaceful evening picture of Seahouses Harbour, up there in Northumberland. The low sun adding a golden glow to the boats in the harbour under an overcast dark sky. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Ha ha your from your description I get the feel of the Mediterranean (I wish!) - Seahouses is 20 miles below Scotland, in the coldest, most northern county of England, often with bitter north winds blowing in from the arctic!
Give me the Mediterranean anytime!! 🤣

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and appropriate composition offers us an enjoyable view of that old harbour and boats. Colours, textures and tones are good. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!

The colours in this picture are amazing - so dark and atmospheric while being bright at the same time. I like the composition of the picture - I know that you could not have rearranged the boats but you have used their positions well. I have been to Seahouses and it did not look this atmospheric when I was there - I have obviously missed it's high points.

Ha ha yes it?s rare to see it looking like this, it?s usually freezing cold, pouring with rain, with a biting north wind blowing!

Yes its the light that shines well in this as i think it lights up the boats well,would i think been ab ordinary photo otherwise sometimes when you go out to take photos the light if dull can go against you in getting good photos...Brian
