These trees really are pretty in the fall, the tree them selves is gorgeous, this looks like a young forest here, love the logs on the forest floor from old trees that have fallen, great photo

This is a great contender for the Mother Earth photo contest. Great full frame. Nice focus. My favorite time of year. I can almost hear the crunching of the leaves beneath my feet as I breath in the crisp fresh air. Nicely captured. Best of luck in the contest!

Very cool. The angle of the shot of this golden woods with leave covered trail is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall.

I agree the golden light is striking. This is so cool. The different shades of brown and yellow is unbelievable. But then you have the downed trees that have some white on them. Fantastic

Jody this is simply gorgeous filtered natural light. The post production processes enhanced the natural earth tones so very well.
Your framing is a fine illustration of an Aspen grove. The DOF is excellent for the subject matter. There is strong detail across the entire image.
Lots of long straight parallel lines is a good test of a chosen lens quality. This was taken with an excellent piece of glass - all the long trees are straight and not bowed, defining edges are clear and sharp - well done.
This shot is a great look at Autumn in the Rockies, thanks for sharing ... Bob

good one jodi for the contest tis a load of trees though and can see the tree that has fallen maybe you could have explored that feature more but the overall color and content works anyway,nice nature image...Brian

A beautiful picture of the Aspen forest in Autumn, with their golden foliage on the trees & carpeting the ground under them, the sun's rays glowing through the trees add an extra something. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques& sharp focus.
