I wholeheartedly agree with your views about the Fall season. Your brilliantly created detailed 'immersive'-like artwork invites the viewer to take a walk in the park on an Autumn season day to experience the sights of the Fall foliage in a tranquil state of mind.

Wowser on this one dear, so provoking for a mood swing, to a good one of course. My fall time has been from indoors looking out the glass. Truth is, I do not walk outside anymore since 2019. A stroke hit my left side. I am a fall risk now. Anyways, this art gives me feelings from the past times being able to walk around. Wowser again many thanks my lady.

must have missed this one,think looking at this it sort of does sum up autumn perfectly,which although autumn colors can be good [as in this version] i hate clearing up leaves[not my favourite job] so always in two minds on this time of year,that aside you have created a good time piece of this time of year....brian

Great painting, Maureen. The perspective is awesome leading the viewer into the distance. The repetition of lampposts causes a rhythmic sense of space and draws the eye deeper.
The only thing I would suggest is to add another board or two on the seat of the bench. It feels like it is missing part of it and like it is leaning forward. Also adding depth with shade where the seat meets the back.
Otherwise, this is stunning work as always!
