Hi Ruth Ann, The lighting is not the best here but I definitely know why you wanted to show this off! Love the expression on the babysitter's face! This is one of those times when it's hard to know how to judge the image. Love the image, just wish the lighting was a bit darker. Sorry I had to mark you down for that! :o) Helvi

lol, no problem, helvi2. Thank you for your comment. Yep, I knew this wasn’t a grade A photo but just couldn’t resist the scene. The fawns were fun to watch.

A nice Nature shot of a group of pronghorns and the and the Doe.... baby sitter. A pity you could not get a more close up photograph so we could see more detail, but nevertheless it is a nice nature shot.

Thank you. Yes, they were pretty far out in the grass.

Looks like this was taken at some distance but indeed still a shot worth taking. The fact that you captured them with no distractions really helps and keeps our eye on the antelope. Cows often have an assigned babysitter too. It was always fun to guess who it would be that particular day. Always seems there are those troublemakers in a group of youngsters :)

Yes, they were quite a ways off. The lens I used was a primary 800mm with an 1.4 extender added and it was cropped quite a bit. I’m surprised it came out as sharp as it did, and it’s not very sharp.

There were a set of twins that raced all over a large area. A joy to watch!

This is a lovely scene presented here. I love the babies. They are so adorable. I guess their auntie has her hands full lol. Your composition shades colors and presentation is well done. Thank you for sharing this lovely scene.

This is a beautiful and interesting shot of the wildlife! You framed it well, and the light, shadows, colours, and composition worked well. Good effort!

Nice capture. The angle of the shot of these critters on the grass plain is great. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The presentation is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A good looking nature image posted here! Your fine, full and appropriate composition offers us a very enjoyable view that mother and her babes. Colours, textures and tones are natural. Exposure and sharpness are fine. Nicely done!
