Aha to see spring again! What a lovely bright and captivating photo to view first thing in the morning. The colors in those lovely flowers makes the viewer almost able to smell their beauty. Fantastic entry for the color green contest.
Thanks for the smell of spring

You have a very nice array of colors here and the contrast between the flowers' colors and the dark green behind them is rather striking and certainly pulls your viewers towards this image. The even lighting is definitely the strongest aspect of this photo as it has preserved your colors and given the image the color contrast that it relies on. (I should note, though, that there are times when direct light works wonders in flower photography, especially if your angle involves creative backlight.)
Anyway, unfortunately, I find that this image is missing two elements that I find essential for impressive flower photography:
1) Creative composition. Aside from the fact that your array of flowers roughly resembles an arrow pointing right, I find that this composition feels a little "random" and jumpy... A good composition really needs have flow to it... the elements of the photo need to take the eye on an engaging and visual journey and, ideally, back to the primary subject. (The flower at the top of your frame actually takes the eye out of the frame a little bit, which is a composition "faux pas".) Even though there is some movement implied in this composition, it doesn't feel as smooth as I feel it should... Additionally... flower photography typically includes a very strong center of interest. Although the "rainbow of colors" can qualify as a center of interest, it's my opinion that it's a weaker one.
2) Depth of field. You've probably seen those stellar flower portraits that are stellar because the flowers are in incredible focus and the background blends into some incredible bokeh, separating the subject beautifully from the background. Here, not only is the focus on your subjects questionable, but the depth of field is rather messy. Aside from the color contrast mentioned above, the subjects really don't POP much. I believe a closer composition and a shallower depth of field (larger aperture) would improve the impact of this shot.
I sincerely hope you find this review helpful! Thanks for sharing! :)

Very nice. What lens and setting did you use? did you use a filter, if so which one. the depth of field really makes the flowers stand out and i think the filter if any adds to the green glow.

Lovely picture, love the colours against the green, very sharp focusing. The little group of flowers are in a nice little cluster.

Love the colors, such brilliant pink! And white. The green really makes it all stand out nicely. I might of focused on the flowers more towards the right. But that's it!

If I had a six it would be yours. I just read your notes, and I thought you intentionally left it soft focused, which I thought was a great touch. I one the colours, the soft focus, framing and the depth of the green leaves. Beautiful picture.
