I like reading your notes. You have certainly given meaning to the photograph. It seems in today's world no one takes the time to care. So I guess if one lives long enough to have you knock on their door. It would be a pleasure indeed to have you tell your story in photograph and word. Your photograph might have been worth 1000 words, but your words gave it meaning. Bob

What a story.... that is so sweet that the heart broken older man left you in for tea and chat... I am happy he talked with you... I like the shot with the windmill along side,a nd the great mountains up above.. so interesting how you get most of your shots. I love your stories.

Thank you very much tjmcc for this wonderful review!!! I forgot to double check my posting as I have learned to do, the very last couple of lines to the story was left out so here is the last bit after losing his 2 daughters'; . They filled in more of the writer's story, 30 years prior; he had lost his wife, 2 daughters

Well done. You have theyes of the hawk--seeing beyond what is there--beyond the horizon. You have a amazing talent not only for photographs but finding the stories of the people involved.I guess if I was say something you remind me of a shaman(medicine-person) well done on your photo.

Nice shot with a good story Low. I like the subject as it is interesting and pleasing to the eye. Color and clarity are very good. I feel this picture may have been better without such a tight crop. Nice all the same.

Poor light on the main subject matter .....the building. Photo seems to be too busy with all the background detail. If the photo had been taken when the building was well lit to show more detail and selecting less of the mountain backgound, could have been a much beeter image

Thank you so much JACIRO!! I am very flattered that you have become a fan!! I only go out 2 - 3 days a month, spending a total of about 10 hours a month just traveling down interesting roads. Would love to spend more time, but just can't right now. I so appreciate your time in reviewing my work, thank you again!!

All your work seems to capture the viewers interest in knowing the whys and how's of the photo image. I love that you tell a story with your work, photos are great story tellers and everyone loves a great story. If you changed the timber of the shack to sandstone it would look like I was viewing a scene from the Flinders Rangers (in remote SA) so I feel that you have captured an image that portrays something that everyone can relate to; age, and natural beauty.

I feel this is cropped too close to get a sense of this cabin properly. A little space on the left would do a lot for this one, showing its tiny and lonely frame against the large slope behind it. It appears some light bleed effected the top center of the photo, as the coloring of the background sharply changes there, turning greens to bluish grays and browns to whites. The focus is perfect, and the subject choice is great.
