Great painting and detailed description of the painting. The details are so soft and beautifully done that show the innocence of the girls soul.. The background with the little blue in the corner is refreshing and perhaps indicate the color of her eyes.

I am unhappy that I cannot give you a six, to me this is the ESSENCE of Mother Nature, in one of her genteler moods..she blends with ALL the flowers and animals..you just happened to capture her! The colors are lovely, and so is the wonderful softness of this! Donkeyoatey

Ah you saw the pose and got the Madonna connection too! You do see everything indeed. I tried to give her a tild of the had toward the flowers as how a mother would bent toward her child.

this is beautiful work. Octavio is a great painter. I love the Mexican painters my favorite is Diego Rivera who influenced the likes of Picasso. Diego work i many ways was one that showed beauty but also the ugliness of The haves and have nots. I love the flower look excellent work.

I agree, Octavio is a great artist and I was suppressed that most reviewers never heard of him before. I love Rivera's work also, who would not living in Mexico. He and his wife Frida Kahlo are still the most influential and most popular artists here.
