A very nice image with beautiful complimentary colors. I like the technique of mixing the sharp lines of the pen with the soft color wash. Very appealing.

I love all the colors you have used they really compliment one another.The different shapes make a wonderful composition it would make a lovely material pattern or wall paper for a bathroom! Your artwork is great. Thanks for sharing.

This I could see hanging on a wall at a shore house here in NJ. Colors are vivid some places, yet soft, and the overall effect is almost abstract.

Many thanks for your nice review. If you drop a few grains of salt on to the wet paint on the paper and let it dry, the salt takes out some of the colour and leaves interesting patterns. The results are quite random and cannot be predicted so it's always fun seeing what appears! Suzanne

It has a softness that is calming as the lovely pastel like colors ebb and flow together just as if they all washed ashore together.
Lovely piece and it's nice to hear Grandma is passing down a great beach tradition of collecting beacu Treasures.
I bought to Oversized Brandy sniffers they use for plants. I filled them each with beach finds plus small rocks from all over the world as far as the North pole.
My patients, friends and family bring me rocks from their travels.
Nice story and lovely painting Suzanne.

Again I love this process. I've tried but not got my paint thin enough for it to look right yet. Still working on it. I love how you've used all the different colors and chose to make sea shells out of it all. Really nice colors and shapes. Really nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for your very nice review. The watercolour paper needs to be quite thick to hold the water and not buckle. It's great dropping different colours on to the wet paper, adding a few salt grains and spraying water on it and then seeing what shapes you can pick out. Hope you have fun with it. Suzanne

Yes, we have a fun time although this week Barney was a little distracted because his Granddad and Grandma were having a hedge planted around the field where they keep their horses, so he had to keep going to supervise! Then in the afternoon it started to rain and he came and said the men were "super cross" as they were getting wet planting the hedge. Suzanne
