A lovely picture of these two greylag geese contemplating the water. Great lighting and angle, good DOF (with the little moorhen peeping over in the distance!) and good clarity of the geese and surrounding area - nice work.

Is this evening already? Why so bright?
In fact some blown out whites are visible.
Some more cropping of the distracting features and that tilt up there!

Great capture of the lovely Geese, Mike, as they stand by the water in the evening sunshine. Very peaceful. I like the angle you used showing the twigs and leaves as contrast. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

This is such a beautiful scene with the two geese in the foreground, and I especially like how lovely the light is falling on them. It is easy to see that this is a springtime scene with the light green new leaves and the bush, and I also think the geese are standing out from the background in an excellent way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in both birds. I also think the exposure is fine.
The photo is nicely framed and the geese have got such a fine placement off to the right. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo Mike, and with an excellent DOF.

Yes, very peaceful. I like the green of the water with the one bird silhouetted against it and the green leaves just starting to sprout. Nice contrast of colors and tones.

A nice shot in strong side light. The geese are well exposed but it is unfortunate that the second of the pair is looking away. The scene is well composed and the colors are good.
