This is such a pretty drawing. I like how bright and vibrant the flowers are. It has a simplistic elegance to it that I like a lot. Well done and thanks for sharing this fun drawing with us. :)

Love the composition, though I wish you had a bit more depth to your subject matter. Inks can be a challenge to work with. Try not to be afraid of adding darker hues for that depth. Thank you for sharing.

Very pretty pastel work of art. Whimsical and fun. Light and airy. Nice color composition. Nicely designed and created.
A pleasure to view! Very nicely done.

I like your use of pastels in this one. The background is soft and warm while the red poppies in the foreground are bold and vibrant. The foliage is very well depicted, as well. Great painting

I like this one Linda. My mom buys red poppies every year in honor of my Great Grandpa Taft. She had about 15 of them in her card tied around the sun shades.
Anyway, your poppies are lovely, their coloring is nice as well as the staimans (if that is what they are called).
The buds and the leaves are quite nice as well.
Its a nice job, thanks for sharing.

I like the way you scrubbed in the colors in the background. The paper looks like it takes that technique well. Your poppies look very nice in detail and color. The highlights are attractive.

Had to come check out your Poppy piece too Linda. I like it but think I do prefer your Coneflower post.

The colors are good....both your blossoms and the foliage and I really like you've included several of those amazing PAPAVER seed pods. I think it's the framing mostly that makes me prefer the other piece more.....but both well done.

Linda,
A beautiful picture of the Red Poppies & their seed heads the foliage seems to be from another plant as poppy leaves are feathery in reality, this however does not take from the beauty of your painting. Created with very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice & blending of your colours in bring these Poppies to life.

Thank you so much. The leaf stems are not poppies. Just s little texture.

Nice one Linda!
This reminds me of a William Morris print. Very nicely done with light shading and blending.
The framing of the red flowers bybthe green stems and leaves is quite nice.
Nice!
