Wow, this is a beautiful scene. I love the sweeping clouds and the reflection in the water. Nice colors with the touch of orange peeking out from the clouds. Nicely framed with the rocks and mountain. Great shot!

A glorious shot of the river. It is like it is half frozen! The last lights on the river looks so gentle!.You have timed it well. Light and sharpness are very effective in creating a lovely capture. Thanks for sharing!

This is a six star photo but I am out. It is so bright and clear even in subdued light -- can't imagine how you ended up with it looking so bright. The sweeping cloud bank patterns are very intriguing on the right; the entire scene looks delightfully surreal. As always, my very sincere admiration! Daphne

Now I know why artists call blue a cool color. This scene, with its icy water, low hanging clouds, and just a sliver of sunshine makes me shiver! I like the sleekness of the ice, made more interesting with how the wind has frozen little peaks in it. The expansiveness of Alaska really comes through in this fine photo.

Very pretty landscape, even if it is also cold in appearance! Good capture of the warm burst of sunset colors and their reflection, contrasting against the colder colors of ice and snow. Like the various textures in the overhead clouds, too!

Wow, what a stunning image of this lake. First of all I love all the blue color! The left side of this image really is a striking focal point. The sun and its reflections in the lake which appears to have a light coat of ice is just magnificent. This has a beautiful perspective and is so relaxing and soothing to view because of its color.
I love it!

What a beautiful scene Pat. Th large rocks in the right foreground act like an anchor for this scene. The reflections on the water, especially the bright spot on the left, are such a wondeful pastel color which soothes the senses. The background land cutting across the entire scene is a dramatic item in and of itself. The sky is the finishing touch with the lovely cloud formation and setting sunlit area drawing the eye to the far left corner. Very well done Pat ~ Steve

Yeah, being a Native American type of a name pronouncing it with the hard 'K' would be the way to go,wouldn't it,Pat! ( You should here some of the complex and over consonanted names that the native Haudenosaunee peoples gave to places down around here! Yow! )
Anyway,I digress!
It's an interesting picture,my friend,and a really good looking one too! : )
