Oh this is a nice oneMary Eileen. I really like the vignette and how it accents and focuses the eye on those beautiful purple flowers. The accented green behind them is in nice contrast with the darker large leaves. The house makes for a nice background. Good work here Mary Eileen ~ Steve

I really like this shot, Meg, and would be interested to know more about it. You've got the flowers with such excellent sharpness and detail, while the house or building behind is still only slightly out of focus. I like that treatment because it shows the environment without distracting from the main subject.

Wow initial impact! I love the lighting you used in this photo. It looks a little eerie but then you see the beautiful pink flower jump off the page at you. I like the point of view from which you took the photo. The building behind the flower makes a great contrast. Excellent!

Just what I needed to see today,since it only got to 19 degrees today-BRRR!!! Love how the rhododendron blossoms seemingly glow with color in your photo.Your focus and depth of field are both excellent. A nice breath of spring-many thanks,and Happy Thanksgiving!

A beautiful picture of these deep pink Rhodondron blossoms with more buds ready to open soon on the bush growing beside the house the light shining down * lighting them up filtering down through the canopy of a tall tree growing nearby. Beautiful composition, framing * lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
