I believe you love horses as much as I do. I see three beautiful ones in the picture of you. I really like the addition of the moon in your creation. It is beautiful against the black sky. I think the horse is just having a little fun. The rider doesn't seem to be too worried about it. Great job as usual!

It looks as if the Palomino is dancing in the silvery light. Rider and horse seem to enjoy the exercise at night. The horse looks happy. The cowboy looks relaxed. The artwork is well composed and framed.

The colors are wonderful and the motion of the horse is especially good. Is the rider a child? He looks like an adult but seems much too small unless the horse is an unusually large breed like a Clydesdale. You say that the cowboy keeps his seat. True according to your painting---but his calmness seems unlikely considering the sudden motion of the horse.

I was thinking of an Andalusian and small rider, yes... And a good rider can sit very smoothly atop a moving horse -- this is not a buck or a rear... I used to work in the field, and became familiar with Andalusian while manager of actress Bo Derek's farm... Daphne Oberon
