Cool,LeeAnn! : )
You must be aware that in their Adult stage Cecropia moths have no functional mouths or digestive systems and spend all of their brief lives ( ten days to two weeks ) mating or looking to mate?
Nature is SO interesting!
: )
And your photo of this beautiful creature ROCKS,my friend! : D
'Good Show'!

Thanks so very much for the great review,Sean! Yep,all they do is have moth sex and lay eggs that they abandon, talk about poor parenting-LOL ! I actually had a male cercropia mate with one of my female Lunas (GASP!!!),as was expected, the eggs resulting from this forbidden tryst were unfertile;was so hoping for luna colored cercropias!

After enjoying the macro of head and body, I am pleased to see an exquisite shot of the whole body of this beautiful Moth. Its colors look especial impressive on the thee bark and stand well out from it. The colors are realistic. The photo is perfectly focused. The moth and the bark show refined detail. The diagonal presentation of the moth is pleasant. The photo is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.
