I've had Hostas growing thickly all around the foundations of my house since my Mom first planted them there goin' on seventy years ago!

I am amazed by the sharpness and refinement of detail. The textures of the leaf and the water drops show perfectly. The reflections in those drops are interesting. I appreciate the realism of light and color. The tight framing is sufficient. The leaf is perfectly placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

This is a very nice close-up. The lighting is very good on the top petal. I can see the veining in the leaf. Not the obvious, but the tiny little pieces in between the lines. The water adds a nice effect as well. Great job! Good luck in the contest.
