Amazing view...I thought it was a painting but then I realised that I was wrong...beautiful scenery... very the green colour is so soothing to the eyes...composition is brilliant...mild sloping hills at the back and dense clouds in the sky complete the photo...focus and clarity is spot on....thanks for sharing

A beautiful picture of the Peak District near the Blue John Caverns Castleton, Derbyshire under a ceiling of clouds floating beneath a blue sky glimpsed in the gaps between the clouds. The clouds in places casting shadows on the hills below. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A beautiful picture of the Peak District near the Blue John Caverns Castleton, Derbyshire under a ceiling of clouds floating beneath a blue sky glimpsed in the gaps between the clouds. The clouds in places casting shadows on the hills below. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

What a pretty place. The rolling hills and the rolling clouds complete the scene perfectly. Construction is balanced between the sky and hills. My only comment would be that the scene seems too light or bright. With that cloud cover, I would think there would be some shadows. I would back off the lightness just a touch. And of course it might just be my screen that is off a touch. Nice composite shot.

It is a truly beautiful landscape you have pictured here, and by the light green vegetation it is easy to see that it is spring. I especially like the dramatic looking sky and the trees placed in the foreground.
The photo is sharp all the way through, the exposure is very good and the colors crisp and clear.
The format and framing is perfect and with the trees placed on each side, it is a very good balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well taken photo Nikman, and with an excellent DOF.
