Pat you definitely live in an exciting area. I can imagine bears here, walking and meandering across the valley plateau. The grass here is looking very crisp with the cold and frost the mountain range is taken at an interesting angle that bearly (not meant apun) suggests a fir Forrest at its base. The sky capture with that golden sun top and reflection brings a cold yet warm glow the the whole scene. A really enjoyable shot.

This is a splendid photo.
I love the cool blue colors of the sky with the sun setting across the mountains. The depth of field is good. The river in the foreground draws the viewer on a journey with beautiful reflections from the mountains. Well focused and exposed.

In my opinion, the colors: frost and cold blue sky, and the accent warmer color of setting down sun. The composition is also can't be better than this one. The golden proportions of the parts of sky, grownd and water. The reflection in the creek is ideal. You're traveling and hunting for the great photos a lot! I adore your passion for the nature! The gold tinted peak is the reflected on the river flowing between it's snow covered banks. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

The bright blue sky over the mountains with the rising clouds, combined with the sun is gorgeous! Love the look of the snow too (or is that hoar frost?).
