Does look oldish and a bit battered in this,good detail and well worth taking but not sure it truly should be in a contest that requires something very old,i would think it means really old..Brian

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of that battered, old goat out there having a breather. Colours, textures and tones are good. Like the detail on him. Well done and good luck!

Well, since you put it this way, "the old dude" and described why he must be very old--and it surely seems so, you earn the highest I have, a "5". The daisies are nice, the background ok, and the animal kinda ugly with his tattered coat, all the other ailments or really aged elements you mention.

Your shot is interesting. To me it looks as if that Old Dude does not like to be photographed half naked and tells you to go away. The wool everywhere shows that he is changing into his winter coat.
Your photo is perfect focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. The animal is excellent composed and framed. The animal is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
