A great entry for the Pet photo contest.
Yes, those eye immediately capture the attention of the viewer and call out to meet deep in eye to eye contact.
Good capture of the pose as Tigger does indeed look a bit angry.

Jodi I think you nailed this shot. Excellent eye color. Your camera settings are spot on perfect, lots of fine detail. The DOF is fantastic, all aspects of the cats face including all of the whiskers are sharp. Great lighting.

I enjoy the realism of color and light and the refinement of detail. I even see single hairs of his coat and his long, silky whiskers. The background is unobtrusive and emphasizes the cat remarkably. The portrait is well composed and framed. The composition is balance4d.

You have captured Tiger well with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is good, colors snd tones appear natural, I like the square framing and this close look at Tigger. I would darken that area above his head as it competes for the viewers eye a bit, we are automatically drawn to the brightest spots!
Otherwise, it's a well captured and presented image.

Nice pet photography. Fine mood capture of it. Those green eyes are so bright, so alert with the sheens of yellowish-green in them, as so many cats do, but the difference is that you captured that quality.
