A very nice pencil drawing of the seated batham head in bronze, you have captured many shadings of color with just one pencil. I like where the light touches her far head

I do like this drawing; it has emotion and I like the face structure. The eye is done extremely well with a pinch of light. Outstanding piece.

You did a truly enviable job of the shading in my estimation; this has a very realistic, sculpted look to it. My admiration! Good luck in the contest!

Thank you so very much, artist friend Daphne. It is a drawing of Charles Umlaugh's sculpture. Again, thanks for the fine review and have a blessed weekend.

He was born in South Haven Michigan. One of our Claim to Fame artists. Your rendition of his work has a lot of depth and fine touch of a pencil. THe use of shadows and shading give this rendering a real feel of being 3D like the actual piece of sculpture. Framed this would be worthy of hanging alongside of the bronze.

A good looking image posted here into the competition! Your fine and classical composition offers us an enjoyable view of a young woman intrigued by something above her. Textures, detail and tones are good. Well drawn and good luck!

Your drawing is interesting. I am impressed by your attention to detail and textures. I do not know the original sculpture, but your drawing looks realistic. It looks almost like a photo of the sculpture. The contradiction of shadows an lightened space emphasizes the pose and the expression of the sculpture. Your artwork is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

I've no idea who 'Charles Umlauf' is nor what a 'Batham Head' is supposed to be but I'm enjoying your drawing very much!
It;s pleasantly unique and I like that a lot! : )
