Hi Glena, Love the tigress and her cub! I can picture a real cub doing just this! The colorful background adds to the enjoyment of this image. Mom looks alert and is looking out for her playful cub! Nice presentation! :o) Nancy

Overall this is a very good attempt to produce an excellent quite realistic approach to these two tigers. Depending how you view this I can see a modernistic approach showing fine detail. However in realiatic mode the posing appears wooden, i feel no movement of heart beat natural. It seems an excellent poster type of production. The fur is good. Attention to detail also and the defused background works well.

Thank you, artist friend, Brenda. How are you? You have been on my mind for a while. Hope you are feeling more and more comforted each day. I originally did this for the wildlife but couldn't get it finished in time. I had the background more of a solid green. I am still learning acrylics.

This is a very good painting of mama and baby. I think a little more detail on their hair would be better as up close it looks like you just did squiggly lines not actual hair strokes. Also the whiskers need to be sharp and straight. Overall I just love the painting. It's very good just needs more finer touches.

Thank you, artist friend Linda. I photographed this with two different cameras and perhaps should have uploaded the other. I did the whiskers with acrylics; some over or not over white jelly pen and don't know why they don't show here very well. I originally did this for the wildlife contest but couldn't get it finished in time and had the background more of a solid green.

This is such a tender scene with the baby tiger holding on to his Mama. Especially the mama tiger is well done, and then especially the eyes. But both of them are well painted paying such a good attention to details. If this had been my painting I would have done a more neutral and smooth background, but I do appreciate that this is a matter of taste. Good use of high lights and fine brush work.
The format and the tight framing has worked so well, and the two of them are well placed on the canvas. It is a really lovely and well done painting Glena.
