This scene is straight out of a Jack London novel Pat.
You were absolutely right about the rocks in the foreground - nice addition. They give scale and add sense of the ruggedness of the area.
The colors are simply magnificent, and the focus is pin sharp with an enormous depth of field.

Yes, I like the large rocks in the foreground as well. I like that the entire front to back are sharp and clear, but the foreground first grabs and holds my attention. Light and colors are beautiful.

The sunset is beautiful with the wispy clouds behind the snow capped mountains and the gorgeous colour of yellow and orange. The reflection on the water is so lovely! Thanks for sharing Pat!

The inlet framed by the mountains on the far shore & the rocks at your feet. The clouds in sky above radiating out from the setting sun just behind them.
